Lansing Old Newsboys
For more than 90 years, Old Newsboys mission has remained unchanged: To provide shoes and boots for deserving schoolchildren throughout Greater Lansing. In 2014, Old Newsboys decided to provide socks to children as well. We are an all-volunteer nonprofit with no paid staff or organization headquarters, meaning that nearly every donated penny goes directly into a fund that goes toward area children. Our biggest fundraiser of the year takes place the first Thursday in December, when copies of the Lansing Spoof Journal are sold in the streets, in offices and outside businesses.
